The #12-ranked GVSU Women's Soccer team (19-2) will take on the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks (17-2) on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 12 pm CT in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament. The contest marks the first time the Lakers have faced off against the Mavericks and will be played at the Soccer Field at Ak-Sar-Ben in Omaha, Neb. Grand Valley captured its first-ever Great Lakes Region Championship last weekend when they defeated SIU-Edwardsville 1-0 in the first round and took down host Northern Kentucky 2-0 in the final.
