Katy Tafler has been named GVSU Student-Athlete of the Week for her performance in reaching a career milestone in a Laker uniform. In two games last week, Tafler scored three goals which brings her career total to 102.

Tafler becomes the 5th player in NCAA Division II women's soccer to score 100 goals. Her current total is tied for 4th for goals scored. Katy has also moved to first in the GLIAC record book for most goals scored in women's soccer history.
