The GVSU women's soccer team is traveling to Europe during their fall camp to prepare for the upcoming season. The Lakers will arrive in Europe and tour Denmark and Germany from their departure on August 11 until they return to the States on August 21.

"This tour gives us an amazing opportunity to build our team for the upcoming season." said head coach David DiIanni, "We will be able to practice, tour Germany and Denmark, as well as play against very tough competition in exhibition matches."

The Lakers will be tested while earning valuable experience during the trip, participating in 4 matches against professional clubs from Europe. GVSU's women's team will also have an opportunity to hear from other players about life as a professional soccer player in Germany and Denmark.
