Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Grand Valley State women's soccer team will be honor on Monday, Aug. 16 at the Whitecaps' Soccer night. The Lakers, along with Olympic Gold medalist and current Women's Professional Soccer star Lindsay Tarpley, will be on hand before the 7 p.m. game to take part in a meet-and-greet and to sign autographs.

GVSU will be honor on the field prior to the game for its National Championship accomplishments before head coach David DiIanni throws out the first pitch. The Lakers open their 2010 campaign on Sept. 3 at home when they take on Winona State at 4 p.m.
