All participants in Grand Valley State Summer camps must fill out a medical information form to bring with the registration. The form can be downloaded and printed here.

Day Camp:
Week 1: June 20-24
Week 2: June 27-July 1

Residential/Team Camp: July 17-20

Orientation and Check-in:
Check-in is from 2:00-4:00 P.M. on Sunday in the GVSU Fieldhouse. An orientation meeting for all camp participants will be held at 4:15 P.M. in Robinson Hall. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory for residents and commuters. Parents are encouraged to attend.

Commuter Plan:
Commuters are required to check in on Sunday afternoon during regular check-in. Participants will eat lunch in the residence hall during the week.

Goalkeeper program:
This is a special daily training program designed exclusively for goalkeepers. Experienced goalie coaches work with goalkeepers on specific technical, tatical, and conditioning drills and exercises. All areas of goalkeeper training are covered including:
-Shot saving
-One-on-one play
-Distribution
-Controlling the penalty area
-Handling air balls

Day Camp:
Age: Boys and Girls, 6-12 years old

What: A fun camp to learn beginner soccer skills, play games, meet new friends. Included each day will be 1 hour of fun time in the pool

Price: $110 All campers (includes a ball and t-shirt)

Tentative Schedule:
9:00-11:00 A.M. Technical training and instruction
11:00-12:00 P.M. Fun games
12:00-12:30 P.M. Lunch
12:30-1:00 P.M. Games
1:00-2:00 P.M. Pool

Residential Camp:
Age: Boys and Girls, 10-18 years old

 

 

Price: $375 resident and $300 commuter (all campers receive a ball and t-shirt)

7:00-8:30 A.M. Breakfast
8:30-11:00 A.M. Tactical/Technical training session
11:00-1:00 P.M. Lunch and break
1:00-4:00 P.M Round Robin games
4:00-6:00 P.M. Dinner
6:00-8:30 P.M. Round Robin games
8:30-10:00 P.M. Free time
10:00 P.M. Lights out

Team Camp:
Age: High School Varsity Teams Only (15-18 years old)

Price: $375 resident and $300 commuter (all campers receive a ball and t-shirt)

7:00-8:30 A.M. Breakfast
8:30-11:00 A.M. Tactical/Technical training session
11:00-1:00 P.M. Lunch and break
1:00-4:00 P.M Round Robin games
4:00-6:00 P.M. Dinner
6:00-8:30 P.M. Round Robin games
8:30-10:00 P.M. Free time
10:00 P.M. Lights out

Directors and Staff:
David DiIanni: Women's Head Coach at Grand Valley State. Led the Laker women's team to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance with a school-best 17-2-2 record and a final ranking of #10 in the nation in his first year. Holds USSF B license. Michigan Olympic Development Staff Coach.
Jeff Crooks: Women's Assistant Coach and Men's Club Head Coach. Holds USSF B License. 14 years coaching experience youth through college.

Other Staff will be college coaches, players, and others selected by the Grand Valley Soccer Camp Director.
