GVSU Head Coach Dave DiIanni

Feb. 12, 2004

Grand Valley State University head women's soccer coach Dave DiIanni announced the signing of seven student-athletes for the 2004 soccer season. "You are always excited when a new class of student-athletes commits to your school, however, with this class we are extremely excited," said DiIanni, who led the Lakers to a school-best 17-2-2 record and a first-ever NCAA Regional appearance in 2003. "We feel not only are we getting very good soccer players, some of which will make an immediate impact, but they are they type of people who will represent the Laker Soccer Program by being respected individuals both in the classroom and in the community," added DiIanni.
