#5 Grand Valley State defeated Findlay 5-1 Saturday in a GLIAC road contest. The Lakers improve to 15-1-1 overall and 5-0-1 in the GLIAC. GVUS's 15 wins is the most ever in Laker soccer history.
Mirela Tutundzic scored three of the Lakers goals. She now has 19 goals on the season, which broke GVSU's all-time goals scored record. Mirela set that record last season with 16 goals.
Jaclyn Lange and Shannon Carrier each scored a goal for Grand Valley. Melissa Henson was in goal for the Lakers.
#5 GVSU will face #12 Ashland in a big GLIAC contest Sunday, Oct. 26 at 1:00 p.m.
