Grand Valley State defeated Dominican (Calif.), 9-0, Friday. The Lakers are now 3-0 on the season and will play again on Sunday at San Francisco State at 11:00 a.m.

The Lakers led 2-0 at halftime after sophomore Mirela Tutundzic scored on a pass from Jenny Swalec at 25:47 and Liz Aceto scored unassisted at 39:29.

At the 54:54 mark, Erin Spika scored an unassisted goal to start an offensive second half. Swalec scored from a Tutundzic pass at 60:15, followed by Tutundzic's own goal from April Raynovich at 61:55.

Aceto scored her second goal of the game on another assisted by Raynovich at 76:30 and Jeanna Falduto kicked in an unassisted goal at 78:03. Aceto added her third goal after teaming up with Raynovich again at the 88 minute mark. The Lakers final goal came from Shannon Carrier from Jaclyn Lange at 90:00.

GVSU took 32 shots and only allowed two by Dominican. Melissa Henson and freshman Erin Murphy split time in goal for the Lakers.
