Jeff Crooks is beginning his second season as GVSU's assistant women's soccer coach. Crooks joined the women's soccer coaching staff at Grand Valley in 2003.

Jeff also took of the reins as head coach for the men's club soccer team at Grand Valley State in 2003. Crooks led the team to their first-ever conference tournament berth. Jeff will serve as head coach again this season.

Before coming to GVSU, Crooks was an assistant on the Michigan State coaching staff for four seasons and was also the assistant to the director of the MSU soccer summer camp program.

Crooks was a head coach for five different club teams over the previous eight years, including the men's and women's club teams at Wichita State University.

Jeff began his playing career at Spring Arbor College where he was a four-year letter winner. His career continued into the professional ranks with Wichita in the USISL.

Crooks earned a Masters of Education with an emphasis in sports administration from Wichita State, after recieving his bachelors degree from Spring Arbor College.

Jeff and his wife, Cathey, have a newborn daughter named Olivia.
