Lacrosse Earns All-Independent Postseason Honors
Five student-athletes earn nods onto second team
As A Freshman (2012)
Named to the Division II All-Independent second team ... started all 17 contests as a defender ... tallied one goal and one assist ... had 26 ground balls, 10 draw controls and 12 caused turnovers ... ground balls tied for third on the team ... caused turnovers were also third ... scored long goal at Pfeiffer (March 3) on a free-position shot ... had a season-high five ground balls in the home opener at Lindenwood (March 16) ... part of a defenseive unit that held Urbana (March 18) to just four goals ... recorded a season-high three caused turnovers against Tiffin (March 24) ... had three ground balls and two caused turnovers in the win over Fort Lewis (March 30) ... also had an assist in that game ... picked up four ground balls against Indiana Tech (April 11) ... had a season-high two draw controls against Adams State (April 21) ... closed out the season with a caused turnover at Notre Dame (April 27).
High School
Played for Rockford under head coach Mike Emery ... All-American Honorable Mention in 2011 ... named an All-State and All-Conference selection in 2010 and 2011 ... led Rockford to three conference titles, four regional titles and the 2010 State Championship ... also played for the Michigan Cyclones.

Daughter of Mark and Sarah ... born July 19, 1992 ... has four sisters, Erika (18), Becky (16), Brooklyn (12) and Alexis (8) ... biomedical sciences major ... also was a competitive cheerleader.
