Grand Valley State's women's golf team earned numerous postseason honors this season by the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA). Head coach Lori Stinson was named the NGCA Division II East Region Coach of the Year, while senior Kristi Vienneau earned NGCA Division II All-East Region honors.

Senior Laura Leatherman, sophomore Tracey Puckering, and senior Melissa Riegle were all named to the NGCA All-Scholar Team. Honorees must earn a 3.5 cumulative GPA and play in 66% of their team's competition.

Grand Valley State finished in fourth place with a 54-hole total of 963 at the Division II Women's Golf National Championships last week. It marked the fourth time in the last five years the Lakers finished among the top five at the NCAA Championships.
