Pace, Fla. - Grand Valley State junior Tracey Puckering fired an opening round 76 at Stoneybrook Country Club in Pace, Florida in opening round action at the NCAA Championships. Puckering is set to tee off at 9:40 on Thursday in the second round.

Puckering birdied the par 4 342-yard third hole and was -1 before a bogey on the par 3 fifth. Another bogey on the par 5 ninth hole gave Puckering a total of +1 37 on the opening nine. Puckering closed the opening 18 with a +3 39 on the back nine for an opening day total of 76.
