Results

Grand Valley State shot a two round score of 619 to place second in the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate Invitational. The Lakers shot a 318 on Monday and followed it with the best round in the tournament, a 301 on Tuesday. GVSU finished just four strokes behind West Florida (615).

Junior Kate MacDonald tied for third place overall after shooting a 150 (76, 74). Freshman Audra Walter posted a 151 (78, 73), tying her for fifth place. Senior Kristi Vienneau (82, 77) and Laura Leatherman (82, 77) both recorded a 159, while senior Melissa Riegle shot a 167 (84, 83).

The tournament conclude play for the Lakers in the fall and they will resume competition in the spring.
