Tampa, Fla. - Grand Valley State finished seventh at the 16-team South Florida Waterlefe Invitational with a team score of 601. The Lakers opened with a 300, followed by a second-round 301. The event was shortened to 36 holes due to rain. Campbell finished first (581), followed by South Florida (590) and Nova Southeastern (592).

Kristina Langton finished tied for eighth with an even par 144. Langton opened with a one-under par 71, followed by a one-over par 73 in round two. Allie Tyler finished tied for 14th with a 147, while Ashley Smith tied for 30th with a 152. Caitlin Bennett finished tied for 53rd with a 158, while Sarah Hoffman finished 76th (166). Michelle Boogaard played as an individual and finished 64th with a 161.
