Senior Melissa Sneller captured the individual title with a two-day score of 153.
 
 

Results

Grand Valley State won the Findlay Invitational by an eight-stroke margin, tallying a two day total of 635. GVSU shot a 308 the first day, followed by a 327 on day two. All six Lakers finished in the top 15.

Senior Melissa Sneller captured the individual title with a two-day score of 153. Sneller shot a 75 on Sunday and a 78 on Monday. Junior Melissa Riegle tied for fourth place with a 161 (74, 87), while senior Shannon Briggs took sixth place with a 163 (80, 83). Junior Laura Leatherman finished in 10th place, after firing a 166 (79,87). Freshman Michelle Boogaard recorded a 167 (82,85), while junior Kristi Vienneau tied for 14th place with a 169 (88, 81).

Grand Valley will play in the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational in Myrtle Beach on October 10-11.
