Grand Valley State's women's golf team is in fourth place at the Wolverine Invitational. GVSU shot a first-round 336. The teams will conclude play tomorrow (Oct. 5).

Kate MacDonald is in first place for the Lakers and in 11th place overall after shooting a day one 80. Rachel Sinnen is tied for 15th place, with an 83, while Shannon Briggs is in 17th place with an 85. Kristi Vienneau shot an 88 and Laura Leatherman recorded an 89. Melissa Riegle rounded out the scoring for the Lakers with a 94.
