Grand Valley State's women's golf continued its success this past weekend as they finished second at the Findlay Invitational. The Lakers tallied a two-day total 660 and finished behind Ferris State, who took first place with a 638.

Kristi Vienneau tied for first place with a two-day round of 154. She shot a tournament low 73 in the first round. Rachael Sinnen finished in sixth place after shooting a 164, Shannon Briggs tied for eighth place with a 166, and Laura Leatherman tallied a 170, tying her for 14th place. Kate MacDonald recorded a 171 and Melissa Riegle added a 173.

The Lakers will travel to the University of Michigan on Oct. 4-5 to play against eight other Michigan schools.
