Grand Valley finished with a three-day total of 1005 at the University of Michigan Wolverine Invitational. GVSU, along with Ferris State, competed with nine Division I schools.

The Lakers finished in ninth place and were led by Melissa Sneller who tied for 23rd, shooting a three day total of 247. Kate McDonald tied for 29th (248), Kristi Vienneau tied for 40th, (254), and Shannon Briggs tied for 48th (261).

The Lakers will travel to Minnesota State on Friday, September 20 for their next competition.
