Grand Valley State won it second tournament of the season, shooting a 309 to capture the St. Joseph's College Invitational. The Lakers finished 27 strokes ahead of second place Missouri-St. Louis.

Senior Kristi Vienneau won her first collegiate individual title after recording a 71. Senior Laura Leatherman tied for fourth place with a 77, while junior Kate MacDonald shot a 79, which tied her for sixth place. Freshman Audra Walter and senior Melissa Riegle both tied for eighth place, posting an 82. Freshman Rachel McHenry tied for 12th with an 85, while sophomore Tracey Puckering rounded out the scoring for the Lakers with an 89.

Grand Valley State will travel to Yorktown, Ind. for the Ball State Cardinal Classic on Monday, Sept. 19-20.
