Results

Grand Valley State finished in eighth place with a two-day total of 635 at the Cardinal Classic in Yorktown, Indiana. The tournament was hosted by Ball State University. Western Michigan won the tournament with a two-day score of 581.

Senior Melissa Sneller tied for seventh place with a score of 148 (75, 73). Melissa Riegle tallied a 158 (81, 77). tying for 32nd place, while Laura Leatherman tied for 44th with a 163 (80, 83). Kristi Vienneau tied for 54th place overall, shooting a 166 (83, 83), and Shannon Briggs tied for 68th with a 172 (87, 85).

The Lakers will play at the Michigan State Invite on Sept. 18-19.
