Grand Valley State finished in third place at the Ball State Cardinal Classic with a total of 617. The tournament was a mix of DI and DII schools. The Lakers tallied a score of 310 on Saturday and 307 on Sunday.

Melissa Sneller finished second overall after shooting a 75 on day one followed by a 71 for a two-day total of 146. Kristi Vienneau and Melissa Riegle both shot a 156 and finished tied for 19th place. Rachel Sinnen scored a 159, which tied for 30th place and Laura Leatherman rounded out the scoring by recording a 168, which tied for 62nd place.

The Lakers will travel to Bowling Green to play this Saturday and Sunday.
