Results

Grand Valley State posted a first round score of 323 in the Laker Fall Classic presented by Sleep Inn. GSVU is tied for second place with Drury, while Ferris State is in the lead after shooting a 310. The tournament will conclude with 18 more holes on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Senior Kristi Vienneau led the Lakers with a round score of 79, tying her for ninth place. Freshman Audra Walter and junior Kate MacDonald both shot an 81, which tied them both for 16th place. Senior Laura Leatherman recorded an 82, while freshman Rachel McHenry shot an 83.

Three Lakers played as individuals in the tournament. Senior Melissa Riegle shot an 87, Tracey Puckering recorded an 83, and Lauren Mack tallied a 97.
