Results

Grand Valley State's women's golf team is tied for second place after day one of the Ferris State Bulldog Fall Invitational. The Lakers tallied a first-round score of 301. Host Ferris State is in first place with a one-day total of 296. The tournament will conclude on Sunday. GVSU will then host the Radisson Riverfront Classic at the Meadows Golf Course on the campus of GVSU.

Junior Melissa Riegle leads the way for the Lakers as she is tied for second place with a one-day score of 74. Senior Melissa Sneller is tied for fifth place with a score of 75, while juniors Kristi Vienneau and Laura Leatherman are both tied for 10th place after shooting a 76. Sophomore Kate MacDonald is tied for 20th place with a score of 79 and freshman Michelle Boogaard started her career as a Laker with a day one score of 89.
