Lakers Remain in Second Place After Three Rounds
 

 
 
 

 
All-American Melissa Sneller posted a par 73 to tally a three-round score of 219.

Grand Valley State tallied a third round score of 298 on Friday to remain in second place, trailing first place Rollins College by 21 strokes in the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship. The Lakers have a 26 stroke lead over third place Florida Southern. The Championship will conclude on Saturday, May 14.

All-American Melissa Sneller posted a par 73 to tally a three-round score of 219, which ties her for second place with Florida Southern's Pamela Feggans. Mariana DeBiase from Rollins College leads the tournament with a one-under-par 218.

Laura Leatherman is tied for 10th place after shooting a 74 today and has a total score of 227. Gage posted her best round of the tournament Friday as well with a 75. She is currently 13th with a 229. Kristi Vienneau is right behind her with a 230 as she posted a 77 in the third round. Kate MacDonald recorded a 76, giving her a 232, tying her for 15th place overall.

The highest finish the Lakers have ever had was in 2003 when they finished fourth.
