Lakers Third After Two Rounds At NCAA Women's Golf Regional
 

 
 
 

 
Sophomore Melissa Sneller is tied for third with a two-round total of 158.

Findlay, Ohio - The Grand Valley State women's golf team is third after two rounds at the NCAA DII East Regional with a 656. The Lakers shot a first round 326, followed by a second round total of 330. Longwood is first with a 642, while Northern Kentucky is second at 651. Ferris State is one shot back of GVSU with a 657. The final round will be played Wednesday at teh Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio, with the top two teams advancing to the NCAA Women's Golf Championship.

Melissa Sneller is tied for third with a 36-hole total of 158. Sneller shot a one-over par 73 in the first round, but carded an 85 in the second round. Shannon Briggs shot a pair of 82's (164) which places her 12th, while Nikki Augustine fired an 85, followed by an 82 (168).
