Urbana, Ill. - Grand Valley State fired a team score of 631 to take second place at the Illini Spring Classic in Urbana, Ill. GVSU followed team champion and host Illinois, but finished 11 strokes ahead of Mid-American Conference foe Ball State.
Melissa Sneller continuted her solid play with a two-round total of 153, which placed her tied for sixth. Kristi Vienneau finished 11th with a 156, while Kate McDonald tied for 14th with a 160. Melissa Riegle shot a 162 which placed her 19th and Shannon Briggs was tied for 23rd with a 165.
