Results

Grand Valley State won the Outback Steakhouse Invite hosted by the University of Findlay after posting a two round score of 649. The Lakers held on to a 12-stroke lead after shooting a 321 Monday and followed with a 328 in round two. GVSU finished nine strokes ahead of second place Ferris State.

Junior Kate MacDonald won the invitational by two strokes as she tallied a two day score of 154. She shot an even par 72 on day one, followed by an 82 on day two. Senior Laura Leatherman finished sixth with a 164 (85, 79) and senior Kristi Vienneau tied for ninth place with a 167 (83, 84). Senior Melissa Riegle (86, 83) and sophomore Tracey Puckering (81, 88) both tied for 15th with a score 169.

Grand Valley State will travel to Midland for the GLIAC Championships on Saturday and Sunday.
