Results

Grand Valley State is leading the Outback Steakhouse Invite in Findlay, Ohio after the first day of play. The Lakers tallied a round one score of 321, 12-strokes ahead of second place Ferris State. Play will conclude on Tuesday.

Junior Kate MacDonald is leading the way after shooting a 72 in round one. She is five strokes ahead of Elena Robles from Ferris State. Sophomore Tracey Puckering is tied for fourth place with an 81 and senior Kristi Vienneau shot an 83, tying her for eighth place. Senior Laura Leatherman is tied for 14th place with an 85 and senior Melissa Riegle shot an 86, which ties her for 16th place.
