Grand Valley State's women's golf team recorded two solid performances over the weekend. GVSU placed sixth in the Illini Spring Classic with a two-day score of 627. The Lakers then took second place at the Bronco Invitational with a two-round score of 649.

For the Lakers at the Illini Spring Classic hosted by the University of Illinois, Enid Gage finished first for the Lakers, tying for eight place with a two-round score of 150. Melissa Sneller finished with a 156, tying for 22nd place. Shannon Briggs tallied a 160, followed by Kristi Vienneau who shot a two day score of 161. Melissa Riegle rounded out the scoring for the Lakers, by recording a 167.

GVSU was led by Vienneau at the Bronco Invitational hosted by Western Michigan. Vienneau finished tied for 10th place, shooting 160 in the two rounds. Gage tallied a tie for 14th place by shooting 163, while Sneller followed right behind with a 164. Briggs recorded a 165, followed by Riegle who had a 169.
