Results

Grand Valley State's women's golf team finished fourth at the Northern Kentucky Spring Invitational this past weekend. The Lakers were led by Melissa Sneller who claimed the individual title by shooting a two-day score of 148. GVSU tallied a fourth place score of 623. De Pauw University claimed top honors by recording a two-day score of 612.

Sneller shot a 74 both days to earn the first place title. Kristi Vienneau tied for 12th place, shooting a two-day total of 153. Laura Leatherman and Melissa Riegle both shot a 161 for 35th place, while Jennifer Brinks shot a 167 for 59th place to round out the scoring for the Lakers.

Shannon Briggs played as an individual and tied for 15th place with a 155.

The Lakers will play a two-day tournament at the University of Illinois in Urbana, Ill. on April 9-10.
