Results

Grand Valley State's women's golf team finished in second place as they shot a two round score of 652. GVSU finished just seven strokes behind first place Bowling Green.

Senior Melissa Riegle won her first collegiate tournament with a two day score of 155. She fired a day one score of 82, which included her first career eagle on the 15th hole and followed it by a birdie on the 16th hole. The scored put her four strokes behind the leader after day one. In the final round, she shot a career-low 73 to force a playoff with BYU's Ashley Childers. Riegle won the playoff with a par on the first hole.

Junior Kate MacDonald took fourth place with a 159 (81, 78). Senior Enid Gage (82, 82), freshman Rachel McHenry (80, 84), and sophomore Tracey Puckering (87, 77) all tied for 10th place with a two round total of 164.

Senior Kristi Vienneau and senior Laura Leatherman both tied for 21st as they shot identical days of 89 and 85.
