Grand Valley State tallied a 303 en route to winning the Northern Kentucky Spring Invitational on Saturday at Perry Park Golf Course. The Lakers finished two strokes ahead of second place DePauw. Sunday's round was cancelled due to rain.

Junior Enid Gage claimed the individual title, shooting a 72 for an even par. Senior Melissa Sneller tied for fourth place with a 75, while sophomore Kate MacDonald tied for 10th place with a 77. Junior Kristi Vienneau finished tied for 15th place after shooting a 79 and junior Melissa Riegle tied for 19th place with an 81. Senior Shannon Briggs tied for 15th place as an individual, recording a 79.

The Lakers will travel to Urbana, Ill. to play in the University of Illinois Invite on April 8-9.
