Allendale, Mich. - The 18th Annual Tom Villemure men's and women's basketball golf outings were held this past Saturday (August 28th) at The Meadows Golf Course on the campus of Grand Valley State University. This year marked the second time the men and women's basketball programs held their outings together. Over 125 alums, friends, and family joined together for a fun day of competition and camaraderie.

Peppino's again served as the site for the post-golf dinner and awards ceremony. Laker head men's coach Ric Wesley and head women's coach Janel Burgess wanted to offer thanks to all of the outing's hole sponsors as well as the golfers who made the outing successful. Prizes were given to the following golfers:

Championship Flight (55): Clip Warmsley, George Warmsley, Mark Warmsley, Dan Lowry

1st Flight: Scott Underhill, Joe Schuitema, Shawn O'Mara

2nd Flight: Kent Fisher, Kevin O'Rourke, Hub Copp, Steve Bengsten

3rd Flight: Steven Van Tiflin, Ray Van Tiflin, Brett Geertsma, Jim Geertsman
