Allendale, Mich. - #10 Grand Valley State's National Semifinal contest against #14 Chico State will be televised live on Comcast Local tonight (March 23) at 10:30 pm EST. The Lakers won their 20th straight game last night taking down #3 Charleston by a 74-59 margin. This is GVSU's first-ever National Semifinal appearance. Check your local listings for the Comcast Local channel in your area.

The 31-3 Lakers have never faced the Wildcats who own a 28-3 record. Chico State averages 81.5 points per game which ranks sixth in NCAA Division II and are led sophomore forward Amber Simmons who averages 19.0 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. Grand Valley ranks sixth in NCAA Division II allowing opponents just 53.5 points per game on the year and are outscoring its competition by 19.8 points per game in the NCAA Tournament.

The game will also be televised on ESPNU and broadcast on WMFN-AM 640 WMFN with play-by-play announcer Steve Lloyd-Jones and color commentator Kent Fisher.
