Evansville, Ind. - Grand Valley State sophomore guard Emma Veach was named to the Daktronics, Inc. Midwest Region Second Team, as was released on Wednesday (Mar. 10). Veach was one of just 10 players to earn the honor, which is voted on by sports information directors in the Midwest Region. Last Thursday (Mar. 4), Veach was selected as an All-GLIAC North Division First Team honoree.

The voting for the Daktronics Midwest Region teams was split evenly, as five players from the GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) and five players from the GLVC (Great Lakes Valley Conference) comprised the 10-player team. Veach was joined on the second team by Tiffin's Mandy Jaeb, Northwood's Jodi Ostergren, Michigan Tech's Sarah Stream, and Northern Kentucky's Casse Mogan.
