Sophomore guard Erika Ryskamp averaged 19.0 points, 3.7 assists, 2.7 steals, and 2.3 rebounds as she helped Grand Valley record three GLIAC wins last week and increase its consecutive game winning streak to 15.
Ryskamp shot 60.0% (21-35) from the field and 54.5% (12-22) from behind the three-point arc. Erika tallied 19 points, including five three-pointers, five assists, and three steals as GVSU defeated FSU, 68-56. Ryskamp tallied five three-pointers for 19 points, five assists, and three rebounds against SVSU. She ended the week by scoring 19 points for the third game in a row as the Lakers knocked off #5-ranked Lake Superior State, 80-64.
Grand Valley is 20-4 overall and 14-1 in GLIAC action. The Lakers will host Northwood on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 6:00 p.m. in their regular season home finale.
