Junior forward Niki Reams earned GLIAC North Division Player of the Week honors for the third time this season as she averaged 18.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 1.0 steals in the the Lakers pair of GLIAC North Division home victories last week.

Reams recorded 13 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and two steals as GVSU defeated Northern Michigan, 73-49 on Thursday. As the Lakers knocked of the #2 seed in the Great Lakes Region Michigan Tech, 63-44, Niki posted 24 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and three blocks.

Reams currently ranks second in the league in rebounds (9.0), third in scoring (17.2), 13th in assists (2.9), and 14 th in steals (2.0) per game.
