Grand Valley State suffered a 64-49 loss to Florida Tech in the 2003 Sodexho Thanksgiving Classic in Melbourne, Florida, on Friday. GVSU will face North Florida, Saturday, Nov. 29 at 1:00 p.m. in their last game of the tournament.
The Lakers had a 26-23 lead at halftime, but was outscored 41-23 in the second half. Florida Tech scored 24 points off Laker turnovers.
Julie Zeeff led the Lakers with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Peaches Churchwell added eight points and four assists.
