Niki Zundel is set to begin her second season as an assistant coach for Grand Valley State's women's basketball team. Zundel comes to GVSU after spending three years as the assistant women's basketball coach at Kalamazoo College.

At Kalamazoo College, Zundel organized game and practice schedules, coordinated fund-raising and community service events, managed the team's budget, and prepared scouting reports. She was also the recruiting coordinator and the strength and conditioning coach for the team.

Zundel served as a camp coach/counselor for six years at numerous colleges in Michigan and Wisconsin. She coached players of various age levels ranging from six to seventeen years.

Niki and her husband, Brent, have a two-year old son, Thaddeus and a newborn daughter, Tatum.
