Grand Valley State sophomore Nate Peck was named the GLIAC Men's Runner of the Week for the second time this year after capturing the individual GLIAC Championship. He ran the 8,000 meter course in a time of 26:23, which helped earn the Lakers their fourth consecutive GLIAC Championship with just 17 points.

Peck and the Lakers will look to defend its Great Lakes Regional Championship title on Nov. 5 as Ferris State will host the meet in Big Rapids, Mich. The Laker men have won the regional title three straight times.
