Grand Valley State freshman Nate Peck finished second at the Loyola of Chicago Sean Earl Invitational. His time of 24:32 over the 8k course was the fastest time in school history by 36 seconds. Peck's performance helped lead the Lakers to a second-place finish among 25 teams in the GOLD division, which included many Division I teams.
