Sophomore Nate Peck won the Aquinas Open by almost a minute, recording a time of 24:58. The time marks the second fastest in school history behind his school record of 24:32. Peck headed the pack of six Laker athletes who finished in the top ten and led GVSU squad to a 20-45 victory over Aquinas College (Mich.).

The Lakers will run in the Ferris State Open on Sept. 23 at 5:00 p.m.
