Laker Men Place Six Athletes on USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

New Orleans, La. - The Grand Valley State men's track and field team had six athletes named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II All-Academic Team, released on Friday, July 30. The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) notched 26 student-athletes to lead all conferences.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 and have met either the NCAA Division II indoor or outdoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard. A total of 156 student-athletes representing 59 Division II institutions made up the 2010 All-Academic team.

Grand Valley State's 2010 All-Academic Team award winners are Quinton Dennis, John Dyer, Kyle Eno, Matt Gordeneer, Pat Sage, and Anthony Witt.
