University Center, Mich. - Grand Valley State dominated the 2003 GLIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships held at Saginaw Valley State University Friday (Feb. 28) and Saturday (Mar. 1). The Lakers scored 214 points, followed by Ashland (121), Saginaw Valley State (82) and Findlay (65). GVSU is the first school since Hillsdale in 1992 to go ove the 200 point mark, and the 214 points scored is the most since SVSU's championship total of 248 in 1984. Laker head coach Jerry Baltes was named GLIAC Men's Coach of the Year
