Emporia, Kansas - Grand Valley State finished 13th in the team standings at the NCAA DII Track & Field National Championships in Emporia, Kansas. with 18 points. Grand Valley State sent a school-record 19 student-athletes to the National Championships.

Bryan Wilson earned All-American honors in the pole vault with a third-place finish and a final height of 16-6.75. Nate Peck earned his second All-American honors at the Championships with an eighth-place finish in the 5000m run (15:07.47), while John Collins earned All-American status in the 800 with an eighth-place finish (1:56.57). Chris Hammer was 7th in the 3000m steeplechase (9:27.00) to earn All-American honors, while Robby Young was 10th (9:35.05).

"I am so proud of how these kids performed," said Baltes. "Each and every member of our program should be proud of what we accomplished this weekend," added Baltes.
