Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State won six events at the Mike Lints Laker Challenge on Friday in the GVSU Fieldhouse. Boomer Hoppough hit the NCAA provisional mark as he won the 55 hurdles in a time of 7.66. Kirk Manchip won the triple jump with a GVSU record 46' 7.5" and also took first in the high jump with a height of 6'8". Romelle Taylor took first in the shot put with a distance of 53'4", while Ian Hunsinger was first in the 400. Dave Harvey was the Lakers' final winner with a time of 15:27.51 in the 5000.
