Sophomore Kenny Coleman broke the school record and set a NCAA National Qualifying mark in the 400 meter dash.
 
 

Results

The Grand Valley State women's track & field team competed at the Doug Raymond Invitational at Kent State University on Saturday. Sophomore Kenny Coleman broke the school record and set a NCAA National Qualifying mark in the 400 meter dash. The previous school record was 49.01 set by Jordan Lake in 2001. Coleman crushed the record, tallying a 48.37.

Mike Simons also set a NCAA National Qualifying mark with a distance of 55'09.25. GVSU will compete at the Notre Dame Meyo Invite on Friday and the Saginaw Valley D2 Challenge on Saturday.
