Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State had another quality meet in the GVSU Open in the Fieldhouse Arena on Saturday. Pat Garrett won two races and the Lakers won three other events in the meet. Garrett won the 200 with a time of 22.82 and then won the 400 in 49.96. Jordan Lake finished right behind Garrett in the 400 with a time of 50.07, while Michael Christmon was second in the 200 with a time of 23.84. GVSU's Ryan Tibble won the high jump with a a jump of 6'5", and Rommelle Taylor won the shot put with a distance of 51'10".

The Lakers will race at the Smith Barney Meet in Indianapolis next Saturday.
