2003-2004: Finished second in the shot put at the GLIAC Indoor Championship with a throw of 52'11''....Managed a throw of 56'8'' breaking the school record and GVSU arena record....Placed fourth in the shot and earned All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor Championship with a throw of 55'7''...Took third place in the shot put at the GLIAC Outdoor Championship with a throw of 54'11.5''....Qualified and competed at the NCAA Outdoor Championship.

2002-2003: Redshirted.

High School: Participated in football, basketball, track, and power lifting at Holland High....Recorded best marks of 49'11.5'' in the shot put and 143'2'' in the discus....Recognized as an Army National Scholar Athlete.
