Grand Valley State went 4-2 on its spring trip to Orlando, Fla. The men finished 1-1 against Division I schools, beating Fairfield, 7-2, and falling in a close match to Villanova, 5-4. The Lakers also beat undefeated St. Cloud State, 6-3. St. Cloud State and Philadelphia are both regionally ranked. Grand Valley beat Philadelphia, 7-2.

The Lakers are 8-4 overall. GVSU will play Hope College on Tuesday, March 15 at Dewitt Tennis Center.
